Job summary

Parametric Technology (UK) Limited in London is seeking a motivated Technical Services Engineer to join the Onshape Technical Services team in a hybrid role. You will support sales opportunities with product demonstrations and technical discussions, working closely with the sales and Customer Success teams.

The role requires a solid understanding of CAD, PDM, PLM, CAM and FEA, plus excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 1–4 years of experience in engineering, application engineering, technical pre‑sales, or engineering software environment.
• Experience delivering product demonstrations or providing technical support in a customer‑facing environment.
• Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the Onshape product portfolio.
• Support the sales team by delivering product demonstrations and assisting with technical evaluations.
• Respond to technical questions from customers and prospects throughout the sales process.
• Assist in creating technical content and supporting materials for customer-facing and marketing activities.
• Gather customer feedback and share product enhancement suggestions with the development team.
• Stay current on industry trends, product updates, and relevant engineering technologies.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
