About the role:
Devlight is looking for a Pre-sale Business Analyst to help transform potential client requests into structured product concepts and project documentation. This role is critical for creating high-quality proposals, accurately estimating project timelines and budgets, and increasing conversion rates into deals.

Your future responsibilities:

• Collect, organize, and analyze inquiries from potential clients.
• Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and backlogs based on incoming data required for project evaluation by the pre-sale team.
• Create briefs and documentation for leads who lack a clear understanding of the functionality of the future product.
• Conduct briefing sessions with leads: identifying needs, clarifying requirements, facilitating decision-making.
• Conduct market, competitor, and user needs analysis to form an effective value proposition.
• Prepare pre-sale documentation: technical specifications, product structures, prototypes (with the participation of designers), etc.
• Initiate and lead workshops, interviews, and demonstrations with stakeholders to clarify the product vision.
• Collaborate closely with the sales, design, architecture, and engineering teams during the pre-sale phase.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Business Analyst in IT.
• Experience working on technologically complex projects.
• Deep understanding of requirement gathering and analysis methodologies (BABOK, Agile BA, Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with SQL for queries and data analysis, understanding relational databases.
• Experience working with APIs, knowledge of RESTful and SOAP service specifications, working with JSON, XML.
• Proficiency with modeling and analysis tools (BPMN, Visio, Flowchart Maker & Online Diagram Software, etc.).
• Experience preparing detailed documentation (BRD, SRS, Use Cases, User Stories, Functional/Non-Functional Specifications).
• Experience participating in client workshops.
• Experience developing test scenarios, analyzing user behavior.
• B2+ level of English for effective communication with international teams and stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in outsourcing or product companies with mobile development.
• Understanding of project estimation principles (breaking down into functional blocks, MVP vs Full Scope).
• Experience participating in tenders or preparing RFP responses.
