A leading healthcare provider is offering a Pharmacy Technician Trainee position, combining on-the-job training with academic coursework to achieve GPhC registration. We are offering an opportunity to participate in on-the-job training while gaining experience in various pharmacy services and undertaking an approved Pharmacy course, leading to registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), subject to successful completion.
Pharmacy Technicians play a vital role in managing the supply of medicines and devices within the pharmacy and assist pharmacists with advisory services. They are expected to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with minimal supervision, ensuring the quality and accuracy of their work and that of others.
Serving a population of approximately 700,000 across Bedfordshire and surrounding areas, our Trust operates two busy hospital sites in Bedford and Luton, offering services such as A&E, maternity, and paediatrics.
