Job summary

King Edward's School, Bath is seeking a highly organised Pre-Prep & Junior School Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative support to the school office.

In this permanent, term-time role (8am-4.30pm, 36 weeks plus INSET/Open Mornings), you will be the first point of contact for parents and visitors, manage pupil records and school communications, and help organise events and safeguarding procedures to ensure the office runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient day-to-day administrative support to the Pre-Prep and Junior School office.

Description

Permanent, 8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday
Term time only 36 weeks per year (plus INSET & Open Mornings)
40 hours per week

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Secretary to provide administrative support to the Pre-Prep & Junior School. The ideal candidatewill provide high-quality administrative support, act as a first point of contact for parents and visitors, and help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the school office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient day-to-day administrative support to the Pre-Prep and Junior School office.
  • Act as a first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff, visitors and external enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate pupil records and support school registration processes.
  • Manage communications, including emails, telephone calls and face-to-face enquiries.
