Job summary

Qualifications

• HNC or BSc in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Pre-development engineering experience in housebuilding, contracting, or consultancy.
• Experience across multiple sites with strong attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to project teams from inception through site completion.
• Assist with selection and appointment of external consultants and survey specialists.
• Manage and collaborate with external consultants to deliver engineering input into site viability assessments.
• Deliver constraints and opportunities assessments and engineering appraisals to achieve value.
• Prepare planning submission packages and engineering tender/construction packages.
• Coordinate roads, sewers, drainage, foundations and structures in tender/ construction packages.
• Engage with external authorities to obtain approvals and sign-offs.
• Liaise with road, sewer and groundworks contractors to identify value engineering opportunities.
• Undertake designer duty-holder responsibilities under CDM regulations.
• Review drawings to ensure high-quality engineering information for tender and construction.
