Job summary

JLL, in partnership with Tetris UK, is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to lead cost planning, tender strategy, and supply chain engagement on high-value fit-out projects in London. You will mentor estimators, manage bids (£1m–£5m+), coordinate with design, commercial and delivery teams, and ensure buildability and value engineering throughout the bid lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in pre-construction, estimating, or commercial management within the London fit-out sector.
• Proven bids on Cat A/Cat B projects with strong cost control.
• Familiarity with BIM take-offs and digital workflows.

• Review architectural, MEP, and contract docs; develop cost strategies.
• Develop supply chain relationships and negotiate terms for value and risk reduction.

We complete complex Cat A and Cat B projects for blue-chip clients across London and the South East, with project values typically £1m to £12m.**Role Overview**The Pre-Construction Manager will lead pre-construction phases of complex fit-out projects, focusing on cost planning, tender strategy, supply chain engagement, and risk management.
