We're looking for a Pre Construction Manager to join our Eastern South, Regional Build team based in Essex.

What will you be responsible for?

As Pre Construction Manager, you'll be working within the Pre Construction team, leading the process and driving consistency in pre-positioning, tendering and successful conclusion to contract award across Eastern South, taking responsibility with the BU Regional Director for targeting and securing to contract award quality projects that support the profit aspirations aligned to the Regional growth and business plans.

Day to day responsibilities include
  • Being responsible for preconstruction delivery from inception through tendering and PCSA, up to contract award
  • Managing the process of designing the solution, cost planning and estimating the costs, planning the implementation of projects to meet or exceed client requirements
  • Implementing Performance Excellence preconstruction processes including bid governance
  • Manage stakeholder engagement including client and design team liaison
  • Engage with the business development team to identify tender opportunities and win plans
What are we looking for?
  • Excellent understanding of the pre-construction process, interpreting client requirements and converting them to outstanding project solutions that deliver technical, quality, budget, programme, and sustainability targets, whilst achieving sustainable business margins
  • A track record of work winning with knowledge of multiple sectors including public and private
  • Strong team leadership with demonstratable capability in developing talent, skills and the potential of individuals and teams
