Join to apply for the Pre-Construction Manager role at Cityscape.

This role is with a reputable civil engineering contractor delivering water and infrastructure projects across the North West. The position involves pre-construction leadership and hands-on P6 planning responsibilities, supporting high-value civil engineering frameworks from tender to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of tender programmes using Primavera P6, including cost and resource loading.
• Manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate with estimating, commercial, and engineering teams to develop accurate programmes.
• Ensure programmes comply with NEC standards and submission requirements.
• Support transition from tender to construction with clear handover and baseline planning.
• Update and maintain project schedules, track progress, and produce reports.
• Perform critical path and float analysis, identify risks, and advise mitigation.
• Support planning sessions and reporting for stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in Pre-Construction or Planning within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (cost and resource loading essential).
• Familiarity with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
• Experience with water or infrastructure frameworks is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; reporting with MS Project or Power BI is a plus.

Location & Working Pattern:

Hybrid working based in North West (Preston/Warrington). Occasional site visits required.

Package:

• Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 depending on experience.
• Car allowance, pension, healthcare, and other benefits.
