Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Pre-Construction Manager on a 6 month contract based in Manchester.

Role Summary

Pre Construction Manager - To lead and coordinate all pre-construction activities associated with the development and execution of Gas Terminals or Above Ground Installations (AGIs), ensuring seamless transition into the construction phase. The role involves managing design finalization, planning, procurement alignment, risk assessments, permitting, stakeholder engagement, and early works to ensure the project is execution-ready.

Requirements

• Lead the development of pre-construction strategies, plans, and schedules in collaboration with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
• Coordinate with project planners (P6), engineers, and cost estimators to ensure an aligned and feasible pre-construction plan.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables required for construction readiness.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and internal compliance teams to ensure all permits, licenses, and environmental approvals are obtained before construction.
• Outside IR35
