Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Pre-Construction Design Manager (HVAC) in Tewkesbury. You will lead the design of HVAC and plumbing systems, producing detailed Revit designs and cost estimates to support tenders.

Are you an experienced HVAC / Building Services professional with a strong design background, looking to take ownership of pre-construction projects from initial client requirements through to tender and project handover?

Do you have experience with Revit and technical building services design, and want to join a growing company where you can play a key role in developing technically challenging commercial and industrial projects?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a growing construction and building services company specialising in delivering high-quality mechanical, HVAC and environmental solutions to commercial and residential clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Pre-Construction Design Manager to strengthen their technical team and take ownership of the pre-contract design process.

This role will involve leading the design and technical development of HVAC and associated plumbing systems, producing detailed Revit designs, specifications and cost estimates to support tenders and proposals. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, engineers, project managers and commercial teams to ensure projects are technically compliant, commercially viable and ready for delivery.

This role would suit an experienced HVAC Design Engineer, Building Services Design Engineer, Design Manager, Revit Designer or Pre-Construction Engineer looking to step into a position with greater responsibility across the design and pre-contract stages.

The Role
