Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment are partnering with a well-established building services company in Cheltenham to recruit an experienced HVAC Designer with strong Revit skills. You will own HVAC designs from concept through to completion on commercial and industrial projects.

Work closely with engineers, project managers and contractors to deliver detailed drawings and calculations. The role offers £50,000–£55,000 plus bonus, 25 days holiday and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• HVAC / Mechanical Building Services design experience.
• Experience using Revit.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed HVAC designs and layouts for new-build and refurbishment projects.
• Produce technical drawings using Revit and CAD.

Are you an experienced HVAC Designer with strong Revit experience, looking to join a well-established building services company where you will work on technically challenging commercial and industrial projects?

Do you want the opportunity to take ownership of HVAC designs from concept through to completion, while working closely with experienced engineers, project managers, architects and contractors?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a growing construction and building services company specialising in delivering high-quality mechanical and environmental solutions to commercial and industrial clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced HVAC Designer to strengthen their in-house design team.

This role would suit an experienced HVAC Designer with experience using Revit, looking to work on a varied range of projects while taking responsibility for detailed design, calculations, equipment selection and technical coordination.

The Role

• Develop detailed HVAC system designs and layouts for new-build and refurbishment projects.


• Produce technical drawings and design documentation using Revit and CAD.


• Carry out heating, cooling and ventilation load calculations.


• Select appropriate HVAC equipment and systems based on project requirements.


• Coordinate HVAC designs with architectural, structural and other building services drawings.


• Prepare specifications and technical documentation.

The Person

• Experience within HVAC / Mechanical Building Services Design.


• Experience using Revit.
