Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer for Cheltenham who can take ownership of HVAC designs from concept to completion using Revit. You will join a respected building services team delivering commercial and industrial projects.

You will produce detailed drawings, perform load calculations, select equipment, and coordinate with architects and contractors to ensure accurate, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC / Mechanical Building Services Design.
• Strong Revit modelling and detailing skills.
• Experience with heat load calculations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC system designs and layouts for new-build and refurbishment projects.
• Produce technical drawings using Revit and CAD.
• Carry out heating, cooling and ventilation load calculations.
• Select equipment and coordinate with architectural and other MEP drawings.
• Prepare specifications and technical documentation.

Are you an experienced HVAC Designer with strong Revit experience, looking to join a well-established building services company where you will work on technically challenging commercial and industrial projects?

Do you want the opportunity to take ownership of HVAC designs from concept through to completion, while working closely with experienced engineers, project managers, architects and contractors?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a growing construction and building services company specialising in delivering high-quality mechanical and environmental solutions to commercial and industrial clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced HVAC Designer to strengthen their in-house design team.

This role would suit an experienced HVAC Designer with experience using Revit, looking to work on a varied range of projects while taking responsibility for detailed design, calculations, equipment selection and technical coordination.

The Role

• Develop detailed HVAC system designs and layouts for new-build and refurbishment projects.
• Produce technical drawings and design documentation using Revit and CAD.
• Carry out heating, cooling and ventilation load calculations.
• Select appropriate HVAC equipment and systems based on project requirements.
• Coordinate HVAC designs with architectural, structural and other building services drawings.
• Prepare specifications and technical documentation.

The Person

• Experience within HVAC / Mechanical Building Services Design.
• Experience using Revit.
