Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Essex/Kent is seeking a Pre-Commissioning Water Treatment Engineer. The role pays £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience, plus a company van, with occasional overnight stays up to 100 miles.

You will flush and chlorinate water systems and build lasting client relationships on-site. Ideal candidates have 2 years’ hands-on flushing/water treatment experience, knowledge of BSRIA and COSHH, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ hands-on flushing/water treatment experience within building services.
• Solid grasp of BSRIA and COSHH standards.
• Comfortable with occasional overnight stay up to 100 miles.
• UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Flushing and cleaning closed low-temperature hot water and chilled water systems.
• Chlorinating domestic water systems across storage tanks and pipework.
• Producing accurate test sheets and reports via company software/apps.

A hands-on Water Treatment Engineer role where your flushing experience and client-facing skills are genuinely put to use, not just ticked off a list.

We’re working with an established name in building services, looking for a detail-focused engineer who can represent them confidently on-site and build lasting relationships with clients.

Your day-to-day:

• Flushing and cleaning closed low-temperature hot water and chilled water systems
• Chlorinating domestic water systems across storage tanks and pipework
• Producing accurate test sheets and reports via company software/apps
• Building strong, lasting relationships with clients on-site

What you’ll need:
