Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Pre-Commissioning Water Treatment Engineer to work on-site in Essex/Kent, covering travel up to 100 miles. The role focuses on flushing and chlorinating domestic water systems, with hands-on experience essential.

You will produce test sheets, build strong client relationships, and contribute to ongoing projects. The position offers £30,000-£40,000 depending on experience, plus a company van and a solid pension, with opportunities for overtime and career

Qualifications

• 2 years’ hands-on flushing/water treatment experience within building services.
• Solid grasp of BSRIA standards.
• Comfortable with occasional overnight stays (up to 100 miles).
• UK Driving Licence.

A hands-on Water Treatment Engineer role where your flushing experience and client-facing skills are genuinely put to use, not just ticked off a list.

We're working with an established name in building services, looking for a detail-focused engineer who can represent them confidently on-site and build lasting relationships with clients.

Your day-to-day:

• Flushing and cleaning closed low-temperature hot water and chilled water systems
• Chlorinating domestic water systems across storage tanks and pipework
• Producing accurate test sheets and reports via company software/apps
• Building strong, lasting relationships with clients on-site

What you'll need:
