Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in the West Midlands is seeking a Pre-Commission Water Hygiene Engineer for varied nationwide contract work. The role offers a competitive salary and genuine development opportunities, with travel across the UK.

You will perform pre-commission cleaning, flushing and closed system testing, tank and cooling tower disinfection, TMV testing, and temperature monitoring, all while complying with ACOP L8 guidelines and DBS checks as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in water treatment/water hygiene
• Water hygiene qualifications and full clean UK driving licence
• Flexibility to work overtime and travel nationwide
• Ability to obtain a full enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Pre-commission cleaning, flushing, and closed system analytical testing/remediation
• Tank, storage, and cooling tower disinfection, cleaning, and chlorination
• TMV testing/servicing and shower head descale & disinfection
• Temperature monitoring, water sampling, and dead leg removals
• Working in compliance with ACOP L8 guidelines
