Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Coventry is seeking an experienced Pre-Commission Water Hygiene Engineer to join a growing water treatment team on varied nationwide contracts. You will perform pre-commission cleaning, flushing, disinfection of tanks and cooling towers, plus TMV servicing, temperature monitoring and sampling in line with ACOP L8, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in water treatment/water hygiene.
• Water hygiene qualifications and a full, clean UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to work overtime and travel nationwide.
• Ability to obtain a full enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Pre-commission cleaning, flushing, and closed system analytical testing/remediation.
• Tank, storage, and cooling tower disinfection, cleaning, and chlorination.
• TMV testing/servicing and shower head descale & disinfection.
• Temperature monitoring, water sampling, and dead leg removals.
• Working in compliance with ACOP L8 guidelines.
