The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking an experienced psychologist to provide clinical supervision and training within Turning Point's Southwest MHTR services. The role supports Senior Assistant and Assistant Psychologists, Peer Support Workers, and governance input, with a small specialist caseload when required.
You will work under a HCPC registration and bring a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach to practice in a remote, fixed-term 12-month role.
This 12-month fixed-term post sits within Turning Point's Southwest MHTR services, which cover Swindon, Somerset and North Somerset and offer psychosocial interventions as an alternative to custodial sentences. The core of the role is clinical supervision, training and guidance for Senior Assistant and Assistant Psychologists and Peer Support Workers, with input to governance and partner agencies. The post is remote and full time, and may include a small caseload of specialist assessments. Fit depends on current HCPC registration as a clinical, counselling or forensic psychologist with a doctoral qualification.
