Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Practitioner Psychologist to join the Older Adult Mental Health Service with a focus on dementia care. You will work within a psychology-led framework and contribute to developing clinically informed pathways across primary and secondary care.

Applicants should have Doctoral training in Clinical/Psychology and HCPC registration, with experience across adult and older adult mental health.

Qualifications

• Doctoral level training in Clinical/Counselling Psychology with accreditation by the BPS.
• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Experience across adult, older adult and learning disabilities settings.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for older people living with dementia and related complex needs.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practitioners and other Therapies to develop psychologically informed care pathways across primary and secondary care.
• Contribute to service development, research and workforce development in dementia care.
• Engage in supervision, continuing professional development and leadership activities.
