The EMAS Education Team is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Practice Placement Team.
The Practice Placement Coordinator will play a key role in supporting high-quality practice learning across the Trust, ensuring apprentices, students and learners are effectively supported throughout their development.
Working within the Organisational Learning Directorate, the post holder will coordinate practice placements and learner allocations, support apprenticeship programmes and recruitment activity, and act as a key link between Education, operational teams and Higher Education Institution partners.
The role will also support the continued expansion of our Practice Educator programmes, helping to ensure sufficient trained Practice Educators are available to support the Trust’s workforce growth.
Working closely with the Practice Placement Manager, education colleagues, operational managers and external partners, the post holder will contribute to quality assurance, governance and continuous improvement, helping EMAS provide an excellent learner experience and a sustainable future workforce.
In this role, you will coordinate practice placements for apprentices, students and learners, working closely with operational teams, Practice Educators and Higher Education Institution partners to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
You will support apprenticeship programmes, coordinate the delivery of Practice Educator courses, assist with recruitment and interview activities, and help maintain placement capacity to meet the Trust's growing workforce needs. You will also contribute to quality assurance, governance and the continuous improvement of practice learning, playing a key role in developing the future clinical workforce at EMAS.
