Job summary

Priory Medical Centre in Warwick is seeking a Practice Nurse to join the treatment room team within a teaching GP partnership. The post focuses on wound care, immunisations, ECGs, travel advice and minor procedures, with a strong emphasis on health promotion for patients with long‑term conditions.

Qualifications

• NMC registration is essential.
• Experience in a primary care environment preferred.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatment room services including wound care, dressings, ECGs and blood pressure monitoring.
• Run nurse-led clinics for immunisations, cervical cytology and travel advice.
• Manage hypertension, asthma and chronic disease risk with care plans.
• Assist GPs with minor surgery and chaperone during examinations.
• Undertake new patient medicals, urinalysis and pathology requests.
