Job summary

Operose Health is seeking a Practice Nurse for 21.5 hours per week at Southover Medical Practice in Torquay. You will work with the general practice team to provide high-quality patient care, support chronic disease management, and help meet regulatory standards.

The role requires an NMC-registered nurse with experience in cervical cytology and immunisations, and a solid understanding of QOF. A supportive learning environment and ongoing professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• UK registered nurse with significant post registration experience.
• Experience in cervical cytology and baby immunisations.
• Strong knowledge of the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF).

Responsibilities

• Support CQC outcomes and ensure compliance with practice policies and procedures.
• Provide care for presenting patients, including chronic disease management and evaluation of care.

Key duties will include:

• You will assist the registered manager with duties related to CQC outcomes, ensuring that compliance is maintained. As well as working collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, ensuring practice policies and procedures are followed.
• Providing care for the presenting patient, treatment, chronic disease management and evaluation of care.
