Are you a Practice Nurse looking for a Primary Care role where you can specialise in Diabetes Care?
One of our Leicester GP Surgeries is looking for a Diabetes Specialist Practice Nurse to work with them on a permanent employment basis, for part time hours, ideally over 3-4 days per week. A job share would also be considered if you have the correct skills and qualifications but would prefer less hours. The salary on offer is band 6 for a GP Trained and Experienced General Practice Nurse (this would be in the region of £20 per hour).
The successful candidate will hold a formal Diabetes Diploma and be confident in all aspects of Diabetes care, being able to see patients, give advice and run Diabetes Clinics and checks independently. Other General Practice skills such as Baby Immunisations and Chronic Disease Management would be needed, so previous and recent work experience within General Practice is a must for this role.
