Job summary

The Grove Road Practice in Sutton is seeking an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within a busy NHS GP surgery as part of a multidisciplinary primary care team.

Key duties include health checks, chronic disease management, immunisations, cervical screening, wound care, ECGs and health promotion, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Holds current NMC registration.
• Has experience working in general practice/primary care.
• Desirable: practice nurse experience or transferable experience and keen interest in developing a career in primary care.

Responsibilities

• Routine treatment room duties.
• Health checks and long-term condition reviews.
• Management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, COPD and asthma (preferred).
• Immunisations and vaccinations.
• Cervical screening.
• Wound care and dressings.
• ECGs and other clinical procedures.
• Supporting health promotion and preventative care.
• Providing appropriate patient education and lifestyle advice.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at The Grove Road Practice in Sutton This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a busy NHS GP surgery. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will work as part of our multidisciplinary primary care team, providing a range of nursing services to our patients. Person Specification

Qualifications – Essential

• Holds current NMC registration.
• Has experience working in general practice/primary care

Desirable

• Practice Nurse experience is preferred, although we would welcome applications from nurses with relevant transferable experience and a keen interest in developing their career in primary care.
