An exciting opportunity for a Practice Nurse at St Brycedale Surgery, a friendly training practice serving 7,500 patients. The role is part-time (18-20 hours) and requires experience in treatment room duties. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a Band 5 qualification, with training provided for motivated individuals.
Salary/Banding: Band 5, NHS Agenda for Change matched salary depending on experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a practice nurse at St Brycedale Surgery.
We are a friendly training practice serving approximately 7,500 patients. Our team includes 4 GP partners, 1 salaried GP, 2 ANPs, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 CTAC nurse, 1 Mental Health Nurse, and 4 Healthcare Assistants.
Ideal candidates will have experience in general treatment room duties such as wound care, cervical screening, warfarin monitoring, stock management, spirometry, and possibly qualifications in Chronic Disease Management (asthma and COPD). Experience in general practice is preferred, but training will be provided for motivated candidates committed to personal and professional development.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential, as you will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
This is a part-time, permanent role requiring 18-20 hours over three days (Tuesday to Thursday). The schedule includes two early shifts starting at 8:30 am and one late shift ending at 6 pm, with adjustments to 6:45 pm every second Thursday when extended hours apply.
Salary is negotiable based on experience and is pro-rata for part-time hours.
