Job description

The General Practice Manager is responsible for the overall day‑day management, strategic development, and operational effectiveness of a semi‑rural GP practice in Wales. The role ensures the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centred services while maintaining compliance with NHS Wales requirements, contractual obligations, and statutory regulations. Particular emphasis is placed on managing limited rural resources, supporting access for dispersed populations, and working collaboratively with local health and community partners.

The Practice Manager will work closely with the GP partners and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice. You will oversee day‑to‑day operations, manage staffing and HR processes, support financial planning, maintain compliance, and help drive service improvement.

Main duties of the job
  • Lead and support administrative and clinical support teams
