Job summary

Lingwell Croft Surgery in Leeds is seeking an accomplished Practice Manager to lead staff, manage the business, and ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires strong leadership, financial stewardship, and regulatory compliance across NHS contracts.

You will work with GP partners, salaried staff, and PCN collaborators to drive service development, performance, and strategic planning within a busy, teaching-oriented practice.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams and HR processes.
• Financial management experience and accounting knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Educated to A level with a management qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of staff and the business to meet partners' aims within a profitable, efficient environment.
• Own finances of the practice and ensure NHSE contract compliance.
• Oversee HR, recruitment, and staff development; ensure DBS checks are in place.
• Keep IT up-to-date and ensure it supports operations.
• Ensure adherence to NHS contractual obligations and CQC standards.
• Lead strategic planning and liaise with PCN, ICB and other partners.
