Bayfields Opticians and Audiologists in Welwyn Garden City is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day running of the practice.

You will coach staff, drive performance, manage budgets and stock, and ensure exceptional client experiences through our Welcome, Discover, Delight journey.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a team and delivering commercial targets.
• Experienced Practice Manager or Deputy Manager ready to take the next step into management.
• Confident, inspirational people leader who develops others.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the practice team to reach their full potential.
• Create a high-performing environment with accountability and motivation.
• Drive sales and performance to achieve and exceed budgets and targets.
• Monitor performance using Management Information (MI) and manage the budget.
• Oversee stock control and spend to ensure efficiency.
• Lead change initiatives and implement new ways of working.
• Ensure exceptional client experience across the Welcome, Discover, Delight journey.
• Manage rota and holiday planning, ensuring sufficient cover.
• Collaborate with other Practice Managers to share best practices.
• Perform people management duties including coaching and development.
