Job summary

Insite Public Practice Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Practice / Client Manager in Manchester. This permanent, full‑time role focuses on statutory accounts, tax work and helping steer the firm's growth.

You will own a varied portfolio, engage with clients, and work with leadership on strategic direction. There is potential to invest in the firm and eventually take ownership within around two years for the entrepreneurial candidate.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification preferred, with strong practice experience.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience across statutory accounts and taxation, including corporate and personal tax.
• Ambitious to run a practice in the future.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of statutory accounts for a broad client portfolio.
• Manage corporate, personal and inheritance tax matters with deadlines.
• Serve as a trusted client contact offering practical accounting and tax guidance.
• Coordinate workflow across the practice, ensuring timely delivery.
• Support and develop junior team members as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership on business planning and strategy.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and client experience.
• Gradually assume day-to-day running and commercial performance responsibilities.
