Job summary

Insite Public Practice Recruitment Limited is partnering with a boutique accounting firm in North West London to recruit an Assistant Client Manager / Senior Accountant. You will manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, prepare statutory accounts, mentor junior staff and support the Partner in daily operations.

The role combines technical work with leadership and strategic influence, offering hybrid working and clear progression toward Client Manager and future leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Strong experience preparing statutory accounts for SMEs and owner-managed businesses.
• Ability to review others' work and manage workflows within a small team.
• Willingness to mentor junior staff and support Partners in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of statutory accounts across a diverse portfolio.
• Review work completed by junior team members and manage deadlines.
• Support Partner with day-to-day department running and workflow.
• Build long-term client relationships and provide practical advice.
• Coach junior accountants and identify process improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive firm growth.
