Job summary

Salford invites applications for a Practice Manager within the Child Protection and Child in Need Team. This is a fixed-term 12-month appointment, working 36 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements.

You will oversee day-to-day delivery of the social work team, ensure participation of children and families, and maintain records and data sharing. The service provides robust training, mentoring, and a supportive leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of all aspects of the Social Work team.
• Focus on quality and improvement of social work and service delivery.
• Ensure participation of children, young people and families and that their lived experiences inform plans.
• Maintain documentation, record keeping, accounting and communication; ensure data sharing and respond to complaints.
• Supervise, care for and develop the team under the Service Manager.
