The Role

As Practice Manager, you will have a variety of responsibilities that benefit colleagues and patients alike. Your duties include clinical and compliance oversight, inspiring colleagues' training and development, marketing to connect with the community, and expanding our private offerings through performance plans.

This role requires inspiring leadership and warm motivational skills. You should be highly organized, inspiring, creative, and a great people person. You will be recognized as an expert and leader in all aspects of quality dentistry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line management of the practice team
  • Supporting clinical team to meet NHS and Private objectives
  • Managing profit and loss, controlling costs, and identifying growth opportunities
  • Reviewing business reports for efficient practice operation
  • Supervising banking procedures including deposits, payments, reconciliation, and debt management
  • Maintaining up-to-date practice documentation, policies, and procedures
  • Ensuring practice compliance with all Health and Safety regulations
Skills and Experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience managing business performance, KPIs, targets, and P&L
  • Staff management experience, including appraisals and performance reviews
  • Enthusiasm and motivation to grow the practice
  • Hold CQC registration as a Practice Manager or willingness to obtain it (including DBS check)
