My client, a leading architecture and design practice in London, is seeking a proactive Practice Manager to join their friendly and collaborative team. This part-time role (three days per week) offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the studio, supporting financial processes, HR, and general administration. Full-time applicants will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage financial processes, including expense reconciliation, payments, invoicing, and VAT returns using Xero
  • Support payroll and maintain accurate financial records
  • Oversee staff records, contracts, and HR policies
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
  • Ensure health and safety compliance
  • Coordinate training and track timesheets
  • Manage office supplies, travel, and external supplier relationships
  • Handle phone enquiries and welcome visitors
  • Oversee practice insurances, memberships, and accreditations
  • Support office events and activities

Skills Required

  • Minimum two years' experience in a similar role, ideally in a creative industry
  • Proficiency in Xero
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel
  • Friendly, proactive, and flexible
