Practice Manager Vacancy

If so, you will work with small businesses (sub £3 million turnover) from our Leicester East office, helping them use their numbers to achieve their dreams with the best tech and apps, providing excellent customer service.

The main role involves managing the office and team, including outsourced staff, ensuring workflow and deadlines are met, and reviewing work rather than doing it yourself. Building relationships with clients through strong interpersonal and communication skills is key.

Skill requirements:
  • Experience in managing and training employees.
  • Ability to conduct client meetings and maintain relationships.
  • Knowledge of Business Accounts and Tax Returns (Corp Tax/Self-Assessment).
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks, Sage, VT, TaxCalc, and Excel.
  • AAT, ACCA, or QBE qualification or part-qualified.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and personable manner.
  • Customer service orientation and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong people skills and positive attitude.
  • Full driving license and car access preferred.

Salary is negotiable based on experience, starting around £35k. Working hours are 9:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday, and 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on Friday. Benefits include Health Assured Employee scheme, 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays, training opportunities, and WFH on Mondays.
