Job summary

Bupa Dental Care Moortown is seeking a confident Practice Manager to lead daily operations, drive revenue and ensure premier patient care. You will manage a team of 7–15, coordinate recruitment, marketing and patient recall processes while upholding CQC standards.

The role offers full-time hours (Mon-Fri, 40 hours) in a dynamic, patient-centered environment with strong support for professional development and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Autonomy to run the practice day-to-day
• Lead and engage a team of 7–15 colleagues
• Plan to deliver income targets and manage marketing, diary, recalls and treatment plans
• Recruitment and selection for all practice staff
• Maximise revenue using Bupa products and services
• Meet CQC and legislative guidelines as the registered manager
• Previous dental management experience desirable (other sectors welcome)

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry-leading patient care in the practice
• Review, monitor and plan to deliver income targets (recruitment, marketing, diary management, recalls, treatment plans)
• Motivate, lead and engage a team of 7–15 colleagues
• Collaborate to drive business priorities and patient growth
• Proactively market the practice to increase patient numbers
• Ensure compliance with CQC and regulatory guidelines as the registered manager
• Oversee recruitment and selection for all staff
• Utilise Bupa products and services to maximise revenue
• Utilise computer software and communication tools (emails, phone, MS Teams)
• Dental management experience is desirable but other successful managers are welcome

Practice Manager responsibilities and skills

• Delivering industry leading patient care in your practice
• Review, monitor and plan to ensure delivery of income targets of the practice (including recruitment, marketing, diary book management, patient recalls, take up and treatment plans)
• Ability to motivate, lead and engage a team of 7-15 colleagues
• Collaborating and influencing conversations to drive forward business priorities
• Proactively marketing your practice to drive patient numbers
• Ensuring the practice meets CQC and legislative guidelines as the CQC registered manager - find out more information here

• Utilising Bupa products and services to maximise revenue
• Confidence in using computer softw...ers and communication via emails/telephone/Microsoft teams
• Previous dental experience desirable but we also welcome applications from successful managers from other business settings
