Job summary

Bupa Dental Care is seeking an experienced Practice Manager for Exeter Dental Centre, Castle Street. Lead a team of 7–15, drive income targets, improve patient experience and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role involves marketing, recruitment and leveraging Bupa services to maximise revenue. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate diary management, and work across 8 surgeries.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of 7–15 colleagues.
• Proven ability to meet income targets for a practice.
• Knowledge of CQC and regulatory guidelines.
• Recruitment and staff development responsibilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry leading patient care in the practice.
• Review, monitor and plan to meet income targets (recruitment, marketing, diary management, recalls, treatment plans).
• Motivate, lead and engage a team of 7–15 colleagues.
• Collaborate and influence conversations to drive business priorities.
• Proactively market the practice to drive patient numbers.
• Ensure the practice meets CQC and legislative guidelines as the registered manager.
• Manage recruitment and selection for all staff.
• Utilise Bupa products and services to maximise revenue.
• Use computer software and communicate via emails/telephone/MS Teams.
• Dental experience welcome but not required.

Dental Practice Manager- Exeter Dental Centre, Castle Street, EX4 3PT

Join our growing and exciting practice, offering a wide range of specialist services, we are looking for an experienced people and business manager to lead, support and develop our team while driving the practice forward and supporting its continued growth and success.

Monday to Friday 40 hours a week

8 surgery practice

Practice Manager responsibilities and skills:

• Delivering industry leading patient care in your practice
• Review, monitor and plan to ensure delivery of income targets of the practice (including recruitment, marketing, diary book management, patient recalls, take up and treatment plans)
• Ability to motivate, lead and engage a team of 7-15 colleagues
• Collaborating and influencing conversations to drive forward business priorities
• Proactively marketing your practice to drive patient numbers
• Ensuring the practice meets CQC and legislative guidelines as the CQC registered manager - find out more information here
• Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff
• Utilising Bupa products and services to maximise revenue
• Confidence in using computer software’s and communication via emails/telephone/Microsoft teams
• Previous dental experience desirable but we also welcome applications from successful managers from other business settings
