Job summary

Portman Smile Clinic Canterbury is seeking a proactive Practice Manager to lead a specialist orthodontic team. You will oversee daily operations, staff performance, and patient care standards across NHS and private patients within a busy practice.

We value a hands-on leader with strong financial acumen who can drive growth, manage budgets and KPIs, ensure compliant processes, maintain fully functioning facilities, and support a positive patient experience in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Has healthcare/retail/hospitality service background and leadership experience.
• Experience managing a dental practice or as lead dental nurse is a plus.
• Ability to lead and support colleagues to perform at their best.
• Confident working with financials (P&L, KPIs, budgets).
• Focus on delivering operational excellence with compliant processes.

We’relooking for a motivated and people-focusedPractice Managerto join our fabulous specialist orthodontic team at Portman Smile Clinic in Canterbury.

Typical shifts ofMonday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:15am - 5:15pm

Competitive Salary from £21000 per annum

Orthodontic practice,caring for both NHS and private patients

Supportive and collaborative operations manager and business partners,assistingwith overall practice growth and management

Please note that as part of your role,you’llbe the Registered Manager for this practice.

About you

We’dlove to receive your application to our Practice Manager vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:

Ahealthcare, retail, hospitality, or similar service-focused background- experience managing a dental practice or strong leadership experience as a lead dental nurse isan added bonus, but not essential

Leading and supporting colleagues to perform at their best

Confident working with financials(P&L, KPIs, budgets)

Focused ondelivering operational excellence: fromfully-functioningequipment and facilities, to a compliant, process-driven practice team
