Job description

Reporting into the Area Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Manager role is a hybrid of patient care and commercial focus, requiring a strong leader passionate about healthcare, patients, and business profitability. This role is responsible for achieving pharmacy targets, managing the store Pharmacist and pharmacy colleagues, and supporting Asda Pharmacy's goal to be industry leader.

Daily responsibilities include leading, coaching, and developing the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient care, ensuring high standards of patient safety. You will oversee the professional development of all team members and locums, maintaining compliance with GPhC standards and clinical governance.

You will have access to in-store, regional, and head office support teams, providing guidance on clinical and service issues.

Working Hours:

Week 1:

• Monday: 09:00 - 21:00
• Tuesday: 09:00 - 21:00
• Saturday: 09:00 - 21:00

Week 2:

• Monday: 09:00 - 21:00
• Tuesday: 09:00 - 21:00
• Thursday: 09:00 - 21:00

About You:

We seek a dedicated, qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC, experienced in NHS and private healthcare services, capable of balancing management and pharmacy roles, inspiring teams, and solving complex situations while maintaining strong store and field relationships.

Applicants must possess a valid GPhC registration, proof of right to work in the UK, safeguarding qualifications, and be prepared for a DBS check and identity verification.
