Job summary

Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a Lead Practitioner in the Review and Transformation Team to provide professional leadership and support to practitioners undertaking reviews and reassessments of care and support arrangements.

You will promote high-quality, legally informed, person-centred and strengths-based practice, supervise complex cases, and contribute to quality assurance and service improvement.

Qualifications

• Social Work Degree or equivalent required.
• Current registration with Social Work England required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership and support to practitioners undertaking reviews and reassessments of care and support arrangements.
• Offer guidance on complex cases and provide reflective supervision to support effective decision-making.
• Contribute to quality assurance, practice development and continuous service improvement.
