Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking an innovative Practice Education Facilitator (registered nurse or midwife) to join the Professional and Practice Development Team. The role focuses on developing and sustaining high-quality practice learning environments, supporting supervision/assessment roles, and delivering educational programmes across NHS Tayside.

You will work with care home educators and HEIs to ensure CPD and regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse or midwife with current registration.
• Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Experience in supporting and assessing learning in healthcare.
• Ability to travel across Tayside and work across partnership education environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality practice learning environments with practice teams.
• Lead the development of Practice Supervisor/Assessor roles.
• Support and develop new Practice Learning Environments for nursing/midwifery students.
• Deliver programmes such as Flying Start and support educational activities meeting standards.
