Job summary

Strathcarron Hospice in Scotland is seeking a Practice Educator in Palliative Care to join the Education, Research and Practice Development team. You will develop and deliver learning programmes, grow knowledge in contemporary palliative care, and build links with external partners to support the Scottish Palliative Care Strategy.

The role requires a Masters level qualification, a teaching/learning qualification or progress toward it, and a proactive, innovative leadership approach within health

Qualifications

• Portfolio of professional practice including palliative care.
• Masters level education.
• Teaching/learning qualification or actively working towards.
• Track record of research and practice development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver programmes of learning and practice development internally and externally.
• Grow knowledge and skills in contemporary palliative care.
• Develop links across catchment to optimise external opportunities and partnerships.
