Job summary

Bupa Dental Care Darlington is seeking a Practice Coordinator to lead the practice team, streamline operations and enhance the patient journey within a NHS/private mixed environment.

You will support the manager, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to a positive patient experience while developing your leadership and organisational skills in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dental or healthcare administration environment is desirable.
• Strong customer service and people management mindset.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and coordinate busy workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the practice team to assist in the provision of dental care services to patients.
• Comply with the Practice Business Plan and assist the manager in its implementation and delivery.
• Work with the Clinical Team and other internal departments to ensure compliance with GDC and CQC guidelines for high-quality patient care.
• Reception duties as required.

Practice Coordinator responsibilities

• Lead the practice team to assist in the provision of dental care services to patients.
• Comply with the Practice Business Plan and assist the manager in its implementation and delivery at the practice.
• Work with the Clinical Team and other internal departments to ensure the practice remains compliant with the General Dental Council and CQC guidelines, to ensure the delivery of first-class patient care
• Reception duties as required

Practice Coordinator skills and experience

• Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Previous administrative experience preferably in a dental or other healthcare environment
• Competent using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Dental nursing experience desirable
