An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Practice Accountant with 3 years of experience to join a well-established accountancy firm. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £32,000 - £40,000 for a 37.5-hour work week.

Role Overview

As a Senior Practice Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing statutory financial accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
2. Handling client queries professionally and promptly.
3. Communicating with HMRC regarding compliance matters.
4. Preparing management accounts and providing financial insights.
5. Supporting senior team members with ad-hoc projects.
6. Managing multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines.
7. Maintaining accurate client records on a CRM system.

Candidate Requirements

1. Experience as an Accountant, Accounts Senior, Accounts Supervisor, or similar role.
2. At least 3 years of experience in accountancy practice.
3. AAT / ACCA / ACA qualification.
4. Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero.
5. Strong organizational and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
6. Right to work in the UK.
