Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Practice Accountant with 3 years of experience to join a well-established accountancy firm.

This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £32,000 - £40,000 for a 37.5 hours work week.

As a Senior Practice Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
2. Handling client queries in a timely and professional manner.
3. Communicating with HMRC regarding compliance matters.
4. Preparing management accounts and offering financial insights.
5. Supporting senior team members with ad-hoc projects.
6. Managing multiple projects while adhering to strict monthly deadlines.
7. Maintaining accurate client records on a CRM system.

What we are looking for:

1. Previously worked as an Accountant, Accounts Senior, Accounts Supervisor or in a similar role.
2. At least 3 years of experience in accountancy practice.
3. AAT / ACCA / ACA qualified Accountant.
4. Understanding of QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero.
5. Excellent organisational and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Right to work in the UK.
