Practice Accountant – Leicester – Salary up to £55,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits
A fantastic opportunity for an innovative and commercially focused Practice Accountantto join a forward-thinking accountancy and advisory firm based in Leicester.This newly created role is perfect for someone with a passion for digital transformation, client service, and outsourced finance solutions. The business supports a wide range of SME clients across multiple sectors, with a focus on efficiency, technology, and long-term relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities
You’ll take the lead in developing and managing outsourced finance services, including:

• Delivering high-quality management accounts and performance insights for SME clients

• Leading a team responsible for bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, and forecasting services

• Enhancing workflows through digital tools, cloud platforms, and AI solutions

• Acting as the main client contact, ensuring service excellence and commercial value

• Driving process improvements and supporting client onboarding and digital adoption

What Experience is Required

• Strong experience in management accounting and client portfolio management

• Proven leadership skills, ideally within an accountancy practice or outsourcing environment

• Proficiency with Xero and familiarity with tools such as Dext, Fathom, or similar

• Background in process improvement or digital transformation projects

Salary & Benefits

• £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)

• 34 days’ holiday including bank holidays (plus option to purchase more)
