Job summary

SRUC is seeking a practical Teaching Instructor to support NC, HNC and HND Agriculture courses at the Oatridge campus and local college farm. The role involves classroom instruction and hands-on teaching to develop students’ agricultural skills.

The successful candidate will deliver NC & HNC classes and may cover machinery operation, farm maintenance and workshop skills, working within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Relevant vocational qualifications at HND level (SCQF 8) in agriculture or animal science or strong practical agricultural experience.
• Good people skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others to deliver accurate results by deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NC & HNC classes at SRUC Oatridge campus and local college farm.
• Cover areas such as machinery operation, farm maintenance and workshop skills.
