Job summary

Hadlow College in Kent seeks a Farm Instructor to support learners on a 250-acre mixed enterprise farm. You will deliver practical lessons, demonstrations and assessments, and help maintain livestock, grassland and estate operations while upholding health and safety standards.

You will work with curriculum staff and the Farm Management Team to create an engaging learning environment and give students hands-on experience that prepares them for careers in agriculture.

Qualifications

• Proven operational farming experience.
• Strong understanding of livestock and farm safety.
• Committed to supporting student learning and practical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support learners through practical lessons and assessments with demonstrations and guidance.
• Assist with daily running of College farms: livestock management, grassland maintenance, estate upkeep.
• Prepare facilities, equipment and resources; maintain records; contribute to College events.
