Job summary

The Portfolio Group are recruiting a PR & Social Media Executive to strengthen its marketing and communications team in London. This role covers PR, media relations, content, social and wider brand activity, with exposure to senior stakeholders and high-profile campaigns.

You'll write press materials, manage social channels, develop engaging content and help deliver integrated campaigns across channels. A couple of years' experience in PR or communications is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in PR, communications or social media.
• Experience planning and delivering PR campaigns.
• Strong media relations and journalist networks.
• Experience managing social media channels and campaigns.
• Excellent copywriting, editing and storytelling.
• Organised, able to manage multiple priorities to deadlines.
• Commercially minded and proactive.

I'm currently recruiting for an established and growing financial services organisation that is looking to strengthen its marketing and communications team with a talented PR & Social Media Executive.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years' experience in PR, communications or social media who wants a varied role covering PR, media relations, content, social and wider brand activity.

You'll work closely with the marketing team and senior stakeholders to build brand awareness, generate media coverage and create engaging content across a range of channels.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop PR opportunities to generate quality media coverage

• Strong organisation and project management skills
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines
• Creative, proactive and commercially minded
• Experience using social media management and scheduling platforms
• Financial services or regulated-sector experience would be advantageous, but isn't essential
