Job summary

Grandir UK Limited is seeking a PR and Communications Executive to drive internal and external messaging, protect brand reputation, and support cross‑functional initiatives across nurseries and regional teams. The role is hybrid with base in Basingstoke and reports to the PR & Communications Manager.

You will craft employee communications, manage media relations, oversee review management, and coordinate with Events, Brand, Digital and Local Marketing to deliver consistent, engaging campaigns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in PR, marketing communications, or internal communications.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience managing internal comms platforms and external digital channels.
• Experience managing reviews and online reputation.
• Desirable: basic digital marketing or local social media campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver employee communications across platforms including the GUK app, HRIS, intranet, and employee social channels.
• Coordinate internal communications relating to key activities such as Ofsted inspections and Open Days, ensuring employees are informed and aligned.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain consistent messaging across all internal channels.
• Manage parent communications, delivering timely, clear, and consistent updates, news, and initiatives.
• Draft press releases, articles, and media materials; build and maintain media lists and journalist relationships.
• Oversee review management, responding professionally to feedback on various platforms.
• Support external promotions for events and campaigns and liaise with stakeholders to deliver high‑standard campaigns.
• Ensure communications comply with legal, regulatory, and brand standards; monitor and report performance.
