PR & Communications Architect for AI Training Environments

Job summary

Obsidian is building high-fidelity simulated work environments to evaluate and improve AI agents in real marketing work. You will help design PR and Communications environments: briefs, artifacts, judgment criteria, and the errors a strong practitioner would catch.

Responsibilities include designing task briefs from your PR experience, specifying required documents and tools, writing reference answers and evaluation criteria, and reviewing AI agent attempts against established standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PR/corporate communications experience, including pitching reporters, managing embargoes and handling corrections.
• Experience building AI training environments, RL environments or simulated case studies is strongly preferred.
• Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification is strongly preferred.
• Clear written reasoning is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Design task briefs drawn from PR or communications work, including what the task tests and the decision expected.
• Specify documents, dashboards, personas and tool states required for realistic tasks.
• Write or review the reference answer and evaluation criteria that separate strong responses from plausible-but-wrong ones.
• Review AI agent attempts and judge them against your own standards.
