PR & Communications Manager

Location: Cambridge (Hybrid)

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading all aspects of PR and external communications, including media outreach, writing press releases, and pitching stories
• Building relationships with journalists and industry contacts to secure coverage
• Creating content that highlights the company’s work across press, blogs, speeches, and more
• Supporting internal communications to keep the team informed and motivated
• Managing public affairs and policy work as needed
• Measuring and reporting on PR effectiveness and areas for improvement
• Collaborating closely with senior leaders, partners, and other teams

What they’re looking for:

• Solid experience in PR and communications, either in-house or at an agency
• Excellent writing skills, storytelling ability, and a knack for identifying newsworthy stories
• Confidence in speaking with journalists and managing media relationships
• Organized and proactive, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Understanding of sustainability or science-led industries is a plus but not essential
• Thoughtful, enthusiastic, and eager to contribute meaningfully
